Lady Falcons Beat Dutchess County Homeschoolers

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Faith Christian Academy girls basketball team finished league play in the Mid-Hudson Christian Athletic League Monday with a 53-21 win over the Dutchess County Homeschoolers.

Emily Santiago had 11 points, eight rebounds and two assists for the Falcons, while Jessica DeCarmine and Lily Malone both finished with 10 points.

Lilly Collignon lead the Eagles with seven points and two boards.

The Falcons improve to 11-6 on the year while finishing second in the Mid-Hudson Christian Athletic League.

“I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication my girls put in this season. We haven’t had such a strong record in almost six years,” FCA coach Brianna DeCarmine said. “We still have work to do and need to finish the job, but I cannot say enough for the pride I feel for this team, and more specifically, this program and how far it has come.”
