Soccer roundup: Ramage's goals lift Ketcham to win

 

Dylan Ramage scored twice to help host Roy C. Ketcham High School’s boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Carmel in Wappingers Falls on Monday.

Daniel Veliz also scored for Ketcham (7-2). Mason Sanborn and Mitchell Kuehner had assists.

Beacon 4, Putnam Valley 1 – Ryan Cory scored twice and Kyle Davis had a goal and an assist to lead host Beacon.

Dover 1, Onteora 0 – Romero Pasquale scored off a pass from Javier Mendez in the 22nd minute and Anthony DeRosa made two saves for visiting Dover (5-2).

Our Lady of Lourdes 5, Pawling 0 – Brady Hildebrand, Anthony Quatrochi, Cole Pilon, Cleveland Lewis and Connor Carey-Tompkins scored for the host Warriors (3-5-1), who defeated the Tigers.

Mahopac 2, John Jay 0 – Chris Preston and Jack Yeager combined for 12 saves, but the visiting Patriots (4-5) lost.

Faith Christian Academy 4, Upton Lake Christian 1 – Dalton Lois and Manny Cabral each scored two goals. Andrew Cruz made nine saves for FCA (4-2).

Girls soccer

Isa Rosenzweig scored the game’s lone goal 21 minutes into the first half as visiting Millbrook shut out Webutuck in Amenia.

Claire Martell made five saves for Millbrook (7-3). Laura Mendez made three saves for Webutuck (2-7).

Franklin D. Roosevelt 3, Highland 1 – Abby Thomas scored twice to lead the visiting Presidents (2-5) to a win.

Natalie Wajda also scored for Roosevelt. Teresa Mazzella scored for Highland (2-9).

Spackenkill 6, Pine Plains 0 – Caitlin Speranza and Lynore Shaffer each scored twice to lead host Spackenkill (8-0). Maria Barefoot added a goal and assist, Maddie Cutler scored a goal and Gabby Prichard had two assists.

Rhinebeck 6, Onteora 0 – Michelle Giamportone had three goals and an assist as the host Hawks shut out the Indians.

Amber Hoglin scored twice and Marissa Giamportone also scored for Rhinebeck. Dani Amidon made five saves for Rhinebeck.

Marlboro 4, Saugerties 0 – Hannah Sullivan had two goals and an assist as the host Iron Dukes (5-4) shut out the Sawyers.

Kali Schindler had a goal and an assist for Marlboro. Carolyn Ludwigson also scored for Marlboro.

New Paltz 4, Wallkill 2 – Cerissa DeValentino had four goals and Erin Metzger had two assists as the host Huguenots (8-2) topped the Panthers.

Dover 2, Ellenville 2 - Abby Wood scored twice for host Dover. Wood's second goal tied the score at 2-2 with 10 minutes left in the second half. Ashley Merlo made 13 saves for the Dragons (2-6-1).

Horace Greeley 1, John Jay 0 – Alexis Lainchbury made five saves and Vicky Siedlecki made three, but the host Patriots (4-4-1) lost.
