7th & 8th Grade Syllabus

Welcome to Literature 7 and 8
Quizzes Tests, Homework, and Grades!
Expect quizzes following any reading assignment. Vocabulary rests will be on Fridays. There will be some exceptions, and you will be told in advance. If you are absent, you must approach me about taking the test or quiz within three days. If you do not make up a quiz or test due to an absence, you will receive a zero.
Expect homework. Homework includes reading and writing assignments, vocabulary, book reports, and special projects, ECT. Failure to complete a homework assignment by the designated date will result in a deduction of ten points for every day it is late. All homework assignments are to be maintained in your English notebook and folder.
