weekly re-cap
Dear Parents,
I will use this page to try and keep you informed as to what is going on in our classroom. If your kids are anything like mine, the answer to "What did you do in school today?" might be "I don't remember" or "nothing". Or, if you try "How was school?", you may get "OK". I'd like to give you a little more information than that; my goal is to update this page every Friday to give you an idea of what we've been up to, and you can then ask pointed, specific questions of your children.
Week of Monday, June 21
WOW! Our last couple of days together were fun-filled and busy. I encouraged the children to remember all that they had learned in Pre-K and to continue practicing their writing during the summer so as to be ready for Kindergarten. The most important thing that I want them to remember is that God's love endures forever. I pray that this summer they grow in Him and in their confidence and abilities. Our memory verse (and my prayer this summer) is "May God keep watch between you and me when we are apart from each other." Genesis 31:49
Thank you for all of your support, encouragement and interest this year. Your children and I were blessed by it.
We had a great year!
Mrs. Garcia
